Kevlar: DuPont™ Kevlar® is light, comfortable and enduring protection against heat, cuts, lacerations and abrasions. Protective gloves and sleeves bearing this brand name provide assurance of compliance to strict performance and quality standards, and are produced only by Kevlar®licensed manufacturers.
PBI: PBI fibers are an excellent choice for very demanding applications. They are often used for safety and heat resistant garments like safety gloves, and firefighter uniforms. PBI is also used as a plastic reinforcements, for heat and chemical resistant filters, and for various other civil engineering applications. The fiber is often blended with other high performance fibers like Kevlar®.
